Marjorie Rawlings Field Trip

     L-R)Jackie Host, Charles & LuLu Aronson, Sue Hamerstrom, Judy Cox, Chuck Hammond, Fran Fowler, Cheryl King, Beth Bisson, Buddy King, Zaire Ankeney and Shirley McKendree are pictured in front of the Marjorie Rawling’s Barn at her home near Cross Creek. The group had a wonderful tour of the house and then went for a delicious meal at “The Yearling” Restaurant. Some of us ate way too much and fortunately got to walk some of it off as we meandered through the beautiful camellia gardens at the home of Robert Weidman and Patrick Andrews. Some of the camellias were simply awesome and the whole garden an inspiration of what just two can do as Bob and Patrick do all of the landscape work themselves.

Our Garden Club was invited to help celebrate Evelyn Henderson (one of our members) 90th Birthday.  It was attended by 8 members and 3 former menbers as well as the guest of honor..  We present a lovely arrangement by Sweet Peas and she loved it.  A lot of others would have come but had other commitments. 

President Host present Evelyn a certificate for her long term service to our club.  She has been a member since 1988
